We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be proficient in bookkeeping software.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Support the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.
- Manage payroll processing and related reporting.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) are a plus.
